South America & Caribbean:Spanish missionaries move into Texas to stem the expansion of the French in Louisiana.
An East India Company ship ship of 650 tons arrives at Portobello with permission to trade.
North America:Virginia colonists cross the Blue Ridge mountains to begin settlements in the Shenandoah Valley.
Europe: John Law is in France to create a bank based on gold believed to exist in Louisiana. English Jacobites are dispersed and their leaders beheaded. Vivaldi on violin.
