Becomes cashier of the Louisiana State Bank, a job he will hold for the remainder of his life.. |

Relf is also Steamship Debenture clerk at the New Orleans customhouse, is involved with the founding of the Canal Bank and is a vestry and senior warden of the Christ Church (Episcopalian). |
