Original stockade built on this site in 1790 by Commandant Jean Filhiol and Lieut. Joseph de la Baume of Ouachita District. Half of timbers furnished by officers; half by garrison and settlers.

Located in Monroe, District 5, 438 South Grand, Ouachita Parish. 79
