Edgar Degas
(Edgar Germain Hilaire Degas)

French Impressionist master whose mother and grandmother were born in New Orleans. Painted many famous subjects on a visit here in 1872-1873 at Musson Home on Esplanade. His Portrait of Estelle bought by Delgado Museum.

Located in New Orleans, District 2, Esplanade Avenue, corner of Tonti Street at Gayarre Place, Orleans Parish. 211
